Inspired by motherhood and her own journey of self-discovery, Mimi Eugene created her debut children's book, Twinkle: The Ballerina with a sparkle all her own, a heartfelt tale about a little ballerina who learns that true confidence doesn’t come from being the best, it comes from embracing what makes you unique.

The story was born from observing how easily children, especially young girls, compare themselves to others and forget the spark that makes them special. Through gentle storytelling, lyrical language, and a touch of magic, Mimi hopes to remind every reader, child and adult alike, that their “twinkle” can never be dimmed by anyone else’s shine.
